FAQ

The transfer advice process normally takes between one and six months to complete depending upon how helpful the scheme administrators are. To enable both you and your client to have access to the progress of the case at all times two websites are available:

  1. Your clients have access to a dedicated Transfer Adviser website. This keeps them in touch with the progress of their case and lets them know the contact details for the O&M team looking after them.
  2. You have access to the O&M Systems website which provides a list of your active cases and a link to cases completed in the last 6 months. You can click on any case to see its current status plus a history of it's progress.

Both websites are password protected and are updated daily.

Accessing Case Tracker

Once you have registered for the Transfer Adviser service and submitted your first case, you can register on our website and then follow the progress of your case(s) via the "Track your cases" link.

Information Available

Upon entry to Case Tracker you will gain access to the following:

  • A list of the active cases showing the name of the client and the scheme, together with a link to see the history of cases completed within the previous 6 months.
  • The status of each case.
  • The complete history for each case, including the size of the transfer value and the product recommendation made.
  • Notes of telephone conversations between our transfer analysts and the scheme.
  • The diary date for each case.

Contacting O&M

In addition to its value to our customers, Case Tracker plays a valuable part in keeping our costs down.

If you call O&M for progress on a case, our staff will refer to Case Tracker and talk you through how to use it yourself.

If you have a particular concern about a case, the case tracker site will inform you of the people looking after the case with contact details. Alternatively please contact the Transfer Adviser Department.
