Costs

Apart from the initial fee, your only commitment is to pay the monthly charge for the system. You are not tied to any long term contract and only need to give us one months written notice to end your rental of Pensions Profiler. The costs detailed below include the supply of monthly updates; there are no hidden charges.

There are four possible charges:

Initial Fees - These are one-off charges that apply when you begin to rent the system or increase your number of licences. Product Licences - Each product licence allows one person to access the system at any time. Multiple product licences can be purchased for simultaneous use. Customer Access Licences (CAL) - Each person requiring access to the system will require a CAL. This allows access to a product licence from their computer. Dongles - Where a single user requires access to Pensions Profiler on a laptop and an office based PC (not simultaneously), the product licence can be deployed via a Dongle for a one-off charge. A Single User Licence This is the entry level for system rental: There is a one-off initial fee of £100 + vat. The on-going monthly rental for a product licence is £40 + vat. The on-going monthly rental for a CAL is £5 + vat. The system can be installed on a laptop or stand-alone PC. Alternatively it can be installed on a Local Area Network (LAN) and allow one user to access the system.

Additional Licences

A typical user will install a system on their local area network and provide additional licences for use on their advisers laptops. Where all payments are made by a single Direct Debit, the following terms will apply:

• There are one-off initial fees for each additional licence of £50 + vat.
• The on-going monthly rental for each additional product licence is £35 + vat.
• The on-going monthly rental for each additional CAL is £5 + vat.

NB. You can increase the number of product licences or CALs you have at any time.

Each product licence allows 50 Switching cases per calendar month. Click here for more details.

Reducing the Number of Licences

Although you are required to give one months notice to cancel your rental agreement, you can reduce your additional product licence numbers at any time. The appropriate reduction in your monthly rental will take place from your next payment.

NB. If you subsequently increase your number of product licences you will be charged the appropriate initial fee.

Working for Other Advisers

The standard software licence does not permit firms to offer services to other regulated firms. Please contact our Sales team for more information on the software solution we can offer to Para Planners.

Pensions Profiler Professional - Single User Licence

This is the entry level for system rental

• There is a one-off initial fee of £200 + vat.
• The on-going monthly rental for a Product licence is £70 + vat.
• The on-going monthly rental for a CAL is £5 + vat.
• The system can be installed on a laptop or stand-alone PC. Alternatively it can be installed on a Local Area Network (LAN) and allow one user to access the system at a time.

Pensions Profiler Professional - Additional Licences

A typical user will install a system on their local area network and provide additional licences for use on their advisers laptops. Where all payments are made from a single Direct Debit, the following terms will apply:

• There are one-off initial fees for each additional product licence of £100 + vat.
• The on-going monthly rental for each additional product licence is £65 + vat.
• The on-going monthly rental for each additional CAL is £5 + vat.

Existing Users Upgrading to Pensions Profiler Professional

If you are an existing Pensions Profiler user, you can upgrade to the Professional system as follows:

There is a one-off initial fee of £100 + vat for your first product licence and £50 + vat for each additional product licence. Your monthly product licence rental increases from £40 + vat to £70 + vat. Your monthly product licence rental for any additional product licences increases from £35 + vat to £65 + vat. The cost of each CAL remains at £5 + vat per month.
