Reviewing With-Profits Policies

In May 2007, the FSA issued a 48 page Insurance Sector Briefing, in which they stated that firms not offering reviews of with-profits policies may not be treating their customers fairly.

In response to this, during the early part of 2008, O&M Systems in conjunction with AEGON Scottish Equitable hosted a series of 38 road shows around the country. The sessions aimed to raise awareness of the requirements of the Briefing and offer a comprehensive and robust procedure to assist advisers when reviewing with-profits plans.
